This year’s college convocation and reception took place May 5 at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Montreal, the parish where former college Principal, the Rev. Dr. John Simons, was an long-serving honorary assistant. Dr. Simons was awarded an honorary doctoral degree during the ceremony, and offered the convocation address. Stanley Brooks, deaconed later in May, was awarded the degree of M.Div. The first graduate of the Montreal School of Theology Certificate Program was awarded a Certificate in Theology; and two Education for Ministry graduates received their diplomas.
