Partnership as Mission: Essays in Memory of Ellie Johnson

An Online Book Launch

Thursday, February 1st, 2024 from 4:00pm to 5:15pm EST on Zoom

For many years, Ellie Johnson served as Director of Partnerships for the Anglican Church of Canada. In that role, she helped shape new theologies of mission in the Anglican Communion and renew the church’s commitment to right relationship with all, including Indigenous peoples, immigrants, and the environment. The new book Partnership as Mission marks Dr. Johnson’s accomplishments and charts a new course for mission in a changing church.

This online book launch will feature a distinguished panel of guests who will recall Ellie’s life and work as well as highlight how the book helps Anglicans today make sense of witness in our time and place.
